Trisha paired with 2018 star in her third Malayalam project

After casting a magic spell on her fans with her mesmerizing performance in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, star heroine Trisha will next be seen opposite Thalapathy Vijay in Leo and Thala Ajith’s Vidaa Muyarchi. On the other hand, the latest updates reveal that Trisha has signed her third Malayalam movie.
Trisha has been roped in for the female lead’s role in the blockbuster Malayalam film 2018’s hero Tovino Thomas’ new film, titled Identity. The film will be directed by the director duo Akhil Paul and Anas Khan who had earlier made Tovino Thomas’ Forensic in 2020. The Tovino-Trisha film is touted as an investigative thriller. Raju Mallya and Century Kochumon are jointly bankrolling the project on their banner Ragam Movies.
Trisha had made her Malayalam debut with the 2018 film, Hey Jude, in which she co-starred Nivin Pauly. Trisha’s second Malayalam project, Raam, opposite Mohanlal in Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph’s direction will release later this year.
