Park Seo-jun and Han So-hee Up Face Monsters In Gyeongseong Creature’ Trailer! – Bigflix

Set in the spring of 1945, “Gyeongseong Creature” unfolds in the city of Gyeongseong, the colonial name for Seoul during Japanese rule over Korea. The narrative revolves around several characters confronting monstrous entities born out of human greed.

Park Seo-jun takes on the role of Jang Tae-sang, the wealthiest and most alluring man in the Bukchon district, known for his affinity for insider information. Concurrently, Han So-hee portrays Yoon Chae-ok, a skilled “todugun” (a bounty hunter and sleuth specializing in tracking down the missing).

The latest trailer for “Gyeongseong Creature” offers a glimpse into the tense first encounter between Tae-song and Chae-ok, as well as their initial visit to the enigmatic Ongseong Hospital. Chae-ok notes, “Patients who are moved here never come back.”

Within the confines of the hospital, people are held captive like animals in cages, with masked figures transporting lifeless bodies in the facility’s basement. The situation escalates when a monstrous creature is unleashed, bringing Tae-song and Chae-ok face to face with the perilous unknown.

The trailer further hints at exhilarating fight sequences in “Gyeongseong Creature” and suggests the development of a relationship between Tae-song and Chae-ok.

Netflix invites viewers to journey back to 1940s South Korea with “Gyeongseong Creature,” an action-thriller featuring Korean stars Park Seo-jun and Han So-hee as monster hunters investigating a gruesome case within a colossal hospital in Gyeongseong, now known as Seoul. Part One of the series is scheduled to premiere on December 22, with Part 2 following shortly after on January 5.

Despite the emphasis on humanity’s cruelty in the title and trailer, “Gyeongseong Creature” assures monster movie enthusiasts of a physical and formidable creature tormenting Jang Tae-sang and Yoon Chae-ok during their journey.

Written by Kang Eun-kyung, known for “Dr. Romantic,” and directed by Chung Dong-yoon (“Hot Stove League”), the series also features Claudia Kim, Kim Hae-sook, Cho Han-cheul, and Wi Ha-jun. Netflix will premiere Part 1 of “Gyeongseong Creature” on December 22.
