New Indian Movies on Netflix: December 2023

Movies were the focus in December, with no new Indian series debuting this month. The newly added films include a number of under-the-radar arthouse pictures as well as three new Netflix Originals: The Archies, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and the true-crime documentary Curry & Cyanide.

Thank You for Coming (2023)

This sex-positive comedy is slow to get going and not as funny as it should be, but actor Bhumi Pednekar proves her ability to master any genre as the lead character, Kanika.

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar moves the world of the Archie comics to an Anglo-Indian town in the 1960s in this musical with novel choreography but a story that’s a little thin. Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case (2023) N
